Plan Information

Turn-key HRA programs are available to governmental employers from several national plan providers.  However, some of these plan designs have almost no longevity and even operate under flawed or much too aggressive interpretations of important IRS rules and guidelines.

The plans we help develop are based on sound interpretations of applicable private letter rulings, revenue rulings, and other guidance issued by the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) that collectively define proper plan design and administration.

When looking at various HRA offerings, employers should seek well-established, time-tested plan designs that minimize employer responsibility and risk while effectively meeting employer objectives.  In addition, employers should choose an HRA plan that employs the expertise of seasoned service providers with proven track records.

From third-party administration to consulting and legal counsel, all of the plans described on this site use a team of service providers regarded nationwide as leaders in their field.
